Ego Professional UK Terms & Conditions
1. Ordering With Ego Professional
i. On placing your order an automated confirmation email will be sent to the supplied email address. This will contain details of your ordered items, charged price, cardholders address and delivery address if different to cardholders.
ii. A confirmation email will be sent once goods have been shipped, this will contain a courier tracking number thus allowing you to check the progress of the delivery.
iii. Orders are not shipped on Saturday or Sunday, all orders received after 3pm Friday will not be shipped until the following Monday.
2.
Deliveries
i. We at present only deliver to UK mainland addresses. Should you require a delivery outside the UK mainland please contact us via our email contact.
ii. Ego Professional will endeavour to ship all orders received prior to 3pm on a next day delivery service. All Ego Professional products qualify for our free next day delivery service. Ego Professional UK are dependent on the carrier company and cannot, therefore, guarantee next day delivery.
iii. Other featured products may be subject to a delivery charge unless ordered with an Ego Professional product. The check out page will clearly show any delivery charges applicable.
iv. Delivery will usually be to the registered cardholders address, however, there is an alternative option of purchases being delivered to a work address , providing a matching postcode is supplied.
v. Deliveries are made on weekdays only.
vi. All shipped orders require a signature on delivery, goods cannot be left unsigned for. Once signed for the goods then become your responsibility and Ego Professional are no longer liable. By signing for the goods you also confirm that you have received goods in a complete and undamaged state. Thus please inspect for damage or leakage prior to signing, and if there is found to be either then refuse the order from the courier stating your reason why.
vii. All damaged goods must be returned before a replacement, exchange or credit can be given. Goods cannot be declared lost in transit until a period of 30 days have lapsed. Should this event occur please contact Ego Professional who will then endeavour to trace the goods.
3.
Packaging
i. We want you to receive your purchase in an undamaged state. All orders are picked and double checked prior to despatch. All are carefully packed to protect them in transit, in the unlikely event that you receive a damaged parcel then please refuse to take it from our courier, stating to them your reasons why. Notify us immediately in order that we can investigate and rectify the matter.

Shortages/Damages
i. In the unlikely event that the goods are damaged within your parcel, or are not correct, we should be contacted within a 24 hour period of the delivery signature. No damages or shortages can be claimed after this period. All goods are to be returned prior to any exchange or refund.
5.
Returns
i. We do not supply goods on a ‘try before you buy’ basis. All returned goods must be in ‘as new’ condition, with all original paperwork and undamaged packaging.
ii. All Ego Professional products have security taped packaging. If this tape has been tampered with, cut, torn or removed then we will be unable to offer a refund. The item would be returned to you with a copy of our terms and conditions.
iii. All returned goods need to be deemed as in a resaleable condition.
iv. All returned goods must have a valid returns authorisation number. No goods will be accepted without this and will be refused from the courier.

vi. All Ego Professional products returned for a non fault reason will be subject to a £8.95 handling charge allowing for the free delivery on the original purchase. A handling charge of £4.95 will be applied to all other returns. This will be deducted from the total refund which will be made to the card used for the original transaction. Any deliveries which are returned to sender with our courier, without prior authorisation will be charged a handling fee of £8.95, unless they are found to have been damaged in transit.
vii. Responsibility for returns is held by the purchaser. For your own protection goods should be returned by recorded delivery or special delivery which requires a signature. Details of the authorised returns number, cardholders name and address and reason for return should be enclosed with the goods.
viii. Ego Professional cannot be held responsible for any returns missing or damaged in transit.
ix. We will not refund the cost of returning parcels for non fault returns.
6.
Warranties
i. All Ego Professional products are covered by a Platinum 2 year warranty.
ii. This warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
iii. Your appliance is replaceable within the first 3 months or repaired within 2 years of the original purchase date if it is found to be defective in material or workmanship.
iv. Please keep your receipt as proof of date of purchase without this the Guarantee may be invalid.
v. The defective appliance must be returned in its original packaging along with proof of purchase.
vi. This warranty does not apply to appliances showing abuse, damage to or parts which in our judgement are not defective nor does it extend to appliances which have been tampered with, altered or repaired other than by the manufacturer or authorised department.
vii. This warranty does not cover items damaged by normal wear and tear, including scratches, abrasions, discolouring or fading, use of improper voltage and current. Negligence, misuse, disassembly and dropping.
viii. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or otherwise affects your statutory rights.

xi. The warranty should be registered within 21 days of purchase, failure to register the warranty within this period will result in a reduction in the warranty period to 6 months.
7.
Your Right to Cancel
i. Any order which has been placed, but has not been picked and packed ready for shipping can be cancelled without charge. Please ring on 01900 67004 between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm Monday to Friday and follow up with confirmation email. Orders which are picked and packed ready for shipping and are then cancelled will be subject to a £4.95 handling charge.
8.
Our Right to Cancel
i. We will cancel your order should there be any matters which arise showing possible fraudulent use of our web site or payment facilities.
ii. Orders will be delayed by ourselves until we have contacted you by email should there be found to be any faults due to typographical errors on our web pages .
9.
Copyright
i. All images and text are protected by copyright. Persons may view, cache or download images of our site content. These are not to be used or republished other than for personal use and should not be rereleased into any other area by any means of data.
ii. You must not try to modify or edit any material on or from our web site.
10.
Personal data and security
i. We take all reasonable precautions to prevent loss, misuse or any alteration of personal information retained.
ii. Card transactions are carried out on third party encrypted secure servers, therefore, we do not retain any card details.
iii. We will never ask for any card details via email.
iv. You are responsible for your user name and passwords, we will not ask for this information.
11.
Liability
i. Our liability is limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted under the applicable law. We try to ensure that all product descriptions are as accurate as possible and are updated on a needs basis. The information is provided free and anyone using this information acknowledges that it will be unreasonable to hold us responsible for any direct or consequential loss or damage arising from those terms, including without limitation any financial loss for whatever reason.
